THE GOVERNING NATIONAL COUNCIL OF THE GHANA INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT PAYS A COURTESY CALL ON THE SPEAKER OF PARLIAMENT, RT. HON. ALBAN S. K. BAGBIN

The Governing National Council of the Ghana Institute of Management (GIM) led by its President, Dr Kwame Antwi-Boasiako paid a Courtesy Call on the Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban Bagbin at the Parliament House on 28th July 2021. The delegation included Mr. Archibald Quartey, 2nd Vice President, Mrs Stella Owusu Aouad, Secretary to Council and Mrs Ama Amoah Gifty, Public Relations Officer and Council member. During the interaction the Speaker asked for a mutually beneficial partnership of Parliament  with the Institute for the conduct of training programmes for the Members of Parliament and the Parliamentary Staff. The meeting agreed for the signing of an MOU between the Legislature and the Ghana Institute of Management in that regard. The President of the Institute, Dr Kwame  Antwi-Boasiako informed the Speaker that the National Council has approved the Conferment of an Honorary Fellowship of the Institute on the Speaker at a date to be agreed later. The Rt Hon. Speaker on his part thanked the Institute for the role it is playing in training of the manpower needs of the country and also for the fruitful visit and assured the National Council of Parliament's support for its activities.
