The Ghana Institute of Management (GIM) is the oldest Professional/Management Institute in the country.
It is also a
founding member of the Association of Management Organisations in
Africa. In July 1961 the Ghana Association for the Advancement of
Management (GAAM) was established as a non-profit and non-political
Association embracing all categories of Managers interested in advancing
efficient management practice in Ghana.

The Governing National Council of the Ghana Institute of Management (GIM) led by its President, Dr Kwame Antwi-Boasiako paid a Courtesy Call on the Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban Bagbin at the Parliament House on 28th July 2021.
The Minister of Education, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum, has urged students of public tertiary institutions who need financial support to pay their academic user fees to make use of the Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF).
The committee chaired by Dr Nsiah Asare, Special Advisor to the President on Health issues, has four weeks to submit its report to the Education Minister.
